Fantastic course. Lots of helpful information and a very knowledgeable presenter. Getting to practice scenarios with paediatric dummies has helped me feel much more confident about how to respond in a choking scenario or giving CPR.

Joe was FANTASTIC! Great delivery of the content and he was also super informative. For a 4 hour course everyone was engaged and all questions were answered. The course was easy to follow and the booklet was a great resource for future reference. Feeling super confident on how to deliver first aid if our kids ever needed it . Would definitely recommend!

An amazing course with so much helpful and important information. Joe was a brilliant educator and Rach was wonderful too. Learning how to administer CPR the correct way was taught so well and I feel so much more confident in being able to assess my children when they are sick or injured and administer CPR the correct way, god forbid I ever need too! Knowing how to deliver back blows and chest blows for choking and when to deliver them was also explained and shown so well. Thanks for offering such an amazing course to help new parents, grandparents and parents of multiple children already (like myself) in having the confidence to potentially save their child’s life!! You guys are doing an amazing job!! 💜💜

My husband and I went and did the Tiny Hearts course when our son was three months old (it felt too overwhelming to do while pregnant) and I'm SO glad we did. Neither of us have any prior medical or first aid training or knowledge, but the course content was manageable while still being extremely comprehensive and practical. A great range of topics were covered and Joe was an absolutely phenomenal presenter. Totally worth the money and getting a babysitter!

Laura was so informative and answered all our questions. She also interacted with our little ones and got them involved in some of the activities. Anyone preparing for parenthood should complete this first aid course so they have the confidence in themselves to deal with any high pressure situations that may arise with their own children. Don’t regret completing this course as my knowledge has saved my son’s life multiple times. And I wouldn’t have the knowledge and skills without this course.

I recently completed the Sydney Public course, and I couldn’t be more impressed! As a healthcare professional I have done many first aid courses over the years however this course taught so much that others don’t! We unfortunately have been in situations where we have had to use our training since completing the course and we have felt confident and calm to help and support our little kids in some really scary moments. I’ve done a few first aid courses over the years and I feel the second you leave you forget. After this one it is all (or at least a lot of it) has been retained and I’m still running over acronyms in my head. Our instructor Erlia was very personable, relatable and kept the class light and interesting despite the heavy subject matter. We chose to do a private class with our mothers group and honestly so happy with that decision. Thank you tiny hearts!

Really great course. Very helpful given lack of CPR experience. The trainer was very informative and personable. A lot of content in a short amount of time but well presented. Video hard to see of mannequin/doll being dark and the background of the video being dark too. All for inclusion but this was difficult to see the value of given the technique was so difficult to work out. Also, would have been good if there was a table at the front so that people outside of the front row could see the live demonstrations that the trainer had to do on the dolls on the floor. Didnt seem to make sense that there wasnt something higher than the ground for the demo to be done on. I didnt want to stand up to block the people behind me so missed a bit of content on that. Overall - I still found it informative given that my knowledge base on this, especially with newborns/kids, was minimal at best.
We are expecting our first child and had Tiny Hearts attended our home for Baby and Child First Aid to teach my partner and I and our immediate families the knowledge and skills that are required to keep our soon to arrive baby safe . Hands down the best thing we have done, whilst we hope not to even need to use the knowledge and tools learnt over the weekend, not only do we as parents feel confident and reassured that we have the knowledge and tools to use in a range of situations, but also confidence that our loved ones have the same information and tools when looking after or around our baby; and importantly they too feel the same. The educator who ran our private workshop was wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. To have 10 people engaged, learning and retaining information for the entire 4 hours is incredible. Four days later and everyone is still saying how much they got out of the course and how happy they are that we organised the private workshop. For anyone thinking about it, it’s a no brainer. Book in the private course and gather your nearest and dearest. You will not regret it.

After completing the tiny hearts first aid course I feel much more confident going into situations where I would need to use my first aid training. Gives me better understanding of situations and how I can react to make a difference rather then feel useless in those moments. We all loved the instructor and the way she taught and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and not over complicate anything. I recommend this to any parents to be or parents with young babies for sure !

This course was fantastic!! We learnt so much and had a great time doing so! The practical side was really helpful! We learnt proper technique so we have a good idea of how hard to push when doing CPR and common first aid. We learnt some fantastic tips and had a great time with our amazing educator, Natalie. Most of us had our babies with us, all under 5 months old but this didn’t hinder us from learning anything. We finished feeling confident to use our newly acquired knowledge for when the time comes, from giving medication to back blows. The new handbook is great, it’s full of fantastic information and some pictures to help. Definitely a book that will be used! If you are thinking about doing this course and can get enough people I would highly recommend doing it!

My husband and I (32 weeks at the time) attended the baby and child first aid course in person and absolutely loved it. It was my first time attending a first aid course of any nature, let alone an infant and child specific course, and at no point did I feel overwhelmed or confused by the information provided. The information was delivered clearly, detailed yet not overwhelming, confidently and at the perfect pace. The hands on practice really helped too. Being in a room with about 50 other people I thought we would be overlooked and not receive feedback during the hands on exercises, but Rach lead the class so well that she was able to give individual feedback, which gave us confidence. 1 week on, I still feel confident in the knowledge that I've learnt, backed up with the physical first aid book that we received on the day with further information. As a first time grandmother I attended this course with my daughter who has a six month old. Even though I had previously attended several first aid training sessions I found this one to be the easiest to follow with exceptionally well planned and professionally presented material that was especially relevant to young parents and caregivers. I found the CPR instructions particularly easy to comprehend and for the first time I now actually feel confident should I need to use it. I would highly recommend this course and think it would be such a valuable gift for new parents.
My husband and I thought this was such a great informative course, gave us a lot more confidence approaching our first childs arrival on how to manage sickness and emergencies. I think every parent should do this course! Covers so much content but in a concise engaging way. Presentation & host was great, CPR training and goodie bag was awesome!
Loved the course ran by Rach on Saturday - extremely informative but also just focused on the things that we as new (and impending) parents need to know. Rach is a very engaging and entertaining speaker and perfectly balanced the serious side with some personal anecdotes. Would highly recommend for any new parents or caregivers. I feel so much more confident going into parenthood with this toolkit of information from the Tiny Hearts team :)
I have done first aid courses in the past but I have never left them feeling as confident as I did after this one. Rach was a fantastic teacher and explained things in an easy-to-understand way without complicating things. The course was interactive, fun, and highly informative. Great class covering baby & child. Both my partner and I have completed CPR courses in the past but there was never a focus on infants and children. This is a great course to help us feel more confident in an emergency situation with our infant. The last topics were a little rushed and the room was too small for the amount of people but at the end of the day we walked away with a very strong overview of CPR and choking with a light overThey can't cover everything in detail in a half day course so I feel where they went deep (CPR & choking) is the right area.
Highly recommend the First Aid course. Attended the Melbourne session over the weekend and came out feeling super prepared for motherhood! This course covered so many topics that I wouldn’t have even thought to consider like poisoning and burns. Rach was a great trainer, so knowledgeable and engaging. Great to be trained by someone so passionate and who made sure everyone walked out confident in their first aid skills. Will be signing up to more courses with Tiny Hearts in the future.
I attended one of the Melbourne public courses for baby first aid and loved it. We were lucky enough to have Rach as our teacher for the morning, she did an amazing job at keeping everyone engaged throughout the 4h course. Having never done first aid before, the way the course was structured was fantastic and easy to follow, not too much information overload. Plenty of time to ask questions which is also handy if all of the course information is new to you! The take home guide to reference later is a an absolutely priceless resource which will not doubt be used as a reference at some point.
Absolutely loved this course. I’ve done a few first aid courses for my job and I find the content so overwhelming and dry for the most part. This course kept my attention the whole 4 hours and was broken down into easy to manage sections with relatable content. I now feel really confident that I would be able to help my children in an emergency and I cannot recommend this course enough.

I cannot thank Tiny Hearts enough for the wealth of knowledge and confidence I’ve received through their first aid course! This is the second time I’ve done their course and I cannot recommend it enough for any parent, parent to be or caregiver. It was absolutely amazing to see Rach and hear all her experiences and receive the tools to confidently provide first aid on an infant or child (Rach your moves to DRSABCD will forever be in my mind!). I was fortunate enough to stumble across Tiny Hearts 5 years ago and have relied on them to give me the confidence to help my 3 kids through the most stressful times. They are the reason I have been able to confidently assess my child’s health and provide the necessary first aid or escalate to 000 when needed. My first aid knowledge is as a result of their dedication to helping the wider community and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have access to their course and their amazing products like fever buddy, medication tracker and now the newly released solids course. The Tiny Hearts first aid course is a no brainer for anyone with an infant or child within their care, it is an absolute must!
I would highly recommend the in person first aid course. My husband and I did it when I was 37 weeks pregnant and we both found it to be really informative, engaging and educational. The presenter was fantastic. So professional and energetic. Really kept everyone focused and attentive.
