Very useful course!
Very useful and thorough course. Always better to prepare rather than too late. Ellie has explained everything very well from CPR, allergies, wounds, etc. very recommended!

This course was perfect! Kept it simple and covered all the big topics so comprehensively. Lots of great tips and tricks given and my hubby and I feel so much more equipped to deal with issues that might happen.

The course was fantastic! It gave me comfort that should I ever need to administer first aid to my child or any child I can confidently know what to do and have comfort that I have done as much as possible to help a child in need.

Excellent course
I did this course with my husband and my husband's parents when I was due for my first baby. It was fantastic. It covered so much that I wanted to know and some things that I didn't realise I didn't know! We also got take home material for reference which was great. I feel so much more confident that if my child gets sick or had an accident I will know what to do. I would 100% recommend this course.

Banana Bandit
After having my second son, I was really worried about choking and just had this instinct that kept coming up telling me to do a first aid course. I kept putting it off. But I follow your page and watch all your videos on what to do. My son started solids and was at a stage we could give him banana, sliced long ways not in circles and I had read somewhere to roll it in coconut to help for grip. He’d had this many of times. But one day, my partner has OMG he’s choking. Usually it’s just gagging but this time there was no noise. I ripped him out of his chair and immediately administered back blows. After just a few, the banana dislodged. That very week I told my beauty therapist and said I was going to do a Tiny Hearts online course when she said ‘no way I’ve wanting to do one, let’s organised a private group one’ and that’s just what we did. I have since referred back to your take home book for various things just for extra reassurance that my babies are okay.
Usually I would panic, but I remained so calm when my son really needed me. Afterwards I was in shock how quickly things had changed but I was also so glad I knew who to do and how to do it calmly.

Confidence to assess and respond
My husband and I completed the first aid course just after our now 2 year old was born. Being first time parents, we had no idea what we were doing, what signs of illness or rashes we should now and react to. I was particularly nervous about choking when our baby would start solids, this course gave me the confidence to know I should respond to and what I should just assess. Who knew gagging was a normal reaction for babies learning to eat food! We left feeling well informed and confident to act if and WHEN needed. We have used all the skills we learned in this course numerous times and are so grateful tinyhearts gave us the confidence to act when our baby girl needs it. Thank you for your course and your continued educational resources and tips! Taking this course is something will never regret, but be thankful you did it!

Private course
My family had rach come to our home to do our first aid course as we had 2 new babies in the family. Rach was so informative and thorough, it felt like we just had a friend (or sister) come over but also teach us lots of things! I can’t recommend this course any more if I tried! We have since bought quite a few of their products and they are all such amazing quality! My niece literally runs to the fridge to get an ice pack if she hurts herself.

Best baby course ever!
This course gave me the confidence to know how to deal with a head knock situation! My 3yo jumped from the end of his bed on to his bed and smacked his head on the other end! He screamed straight away so I knew he didn’t lose consciousness but as you can see from the pics the bruising got progressively worse and I knew when I needed to take him to the doctor!
Thanks so tiny hearts for sharing the content they do on their page and for the course that not only had me in tears on the day but educated me on things I never would have know!! I reference your company to friends and family way more than I probably should 🤣

Amazing course
Absolutely amazing.
I was eating lunch out at a restaurant with my 3 year old, 6 month old, partner and my Dad who was visiting us at the time. My 6 month old was interested in my hot chips so I placed her in the high chair and gave her a cooled hot chip to suck / chew on. It was going fine, until it wasn’t. I watched her drop some of the chip while a larger piece went into her mouth, I looked at my partner and said worryingly, oh god I think she could choke on this… he said stick your finger in her mouth and get it out if your worried and I replied with no, that could make it worse we just need to play this out and see how she goes. It felt like within 10 seconds of me saying this, she started to choke. I could see the expression in her face, I unbuckled her out of her high chair, gave her 2 back blows and out came this piece of hot chip.
My partner (her dad) and my dad both clapped and said they could not have done that any better or quicker and were quite stunned with my quick reaction.
My heart was beating out of my chest, but I know I responded and did what I done and saved my daughter’s life because of this course so thank you.

An essential for all parents, parents to be and anyone who is around kids
As a parent whose child had to be resuscitated (beyond thankful we were at the hospital when this occurred) completing an in person first aid course was a priority for us. What your learn is invaluable
I attended this course with my husband back in October (baby friendly in Melbourne). He did a first aid course many years ago, so this was a great refresher for him. He also learnt a lot of new information and skills.
I have no previous experience and found the course to be easy to follow. There is a lot of information to take in and it was a comfortable environment to ask questions.
I wish I had done this years ago. I have a 3.5 yr old and 6 month old daughters. My baby was recently confirmed to have a milk and dairy allergy. This course has given me confidence going into feeding solids and starting my little one on allergens. I'm still nervous, but I have a clear plan and actions I know I can take should anything go wrong.
For friends or family who are new parents, instead of giving them clothes or toys, I'll be gifting a voucher for this course.
There is nothing more valuable than knowing how to save your little one's life.

Immensely Helpful!!
I attended a private training at a friends house with a group of new and seasoned mothers. It was such a fabulous course, great resources and a variety of information provided that is actually applicable to little ones directly! The trainer was incredibly friendly, personable and engaging, further facilitating really robust discussions from any questions we had and providing actual experiences to be able to understand and gain thorough insight into the purpose, importance and the WHY! Couldn’t recommend tiny hearts ENOUGH!

The skills to know how to save your little ones life
A course that taught me how to be confident in what could be a life saving moment. My daughter was about 11 months old, we were at a play cafe for a friend's party. She was in the high chair eating a savoury muffin, which she had ate many times before. But next minute she started gagging, then silently choking, the fear in her eyes I will never forget. Without hesitation I grabbed her out of the high chair and began back blows, by the third back blow the lodged bit of muffin came flying out. It wasn't until afterwards in the car on the way home that the emotions hit and I cried. Cried out of the realisation that if I did not do the tiny hearts first aid course when she was 6 weeks old, that I certainly would not of had any idea on what to do, the confidence to do it and the ability to stay calm while doing so. So very greatful for tiny hearts 🩷

I organised it for local mums to get their knowledge up to date with all their new babes!
We had first time mums and mums that had a few kids already take advantage of this course being available locally! The session was so informative and we appreciate the team travelling!

Hubby and I did the public course in Tassie a few years ago, alongside my brother and sister-in-law, and coincidentally a friend too. Our presenter was so informative and the course itself was the best I’d ever participated in. So much practical information, real life scenarios and opportunities to ‘practice what we preach’. We left feeling confident that at any time we could step in and do what we had to do for our kids, and it was reassuring that we had others in our family that could too. We’ve since used a lot of the knowledge we’ve learned with our two kids, especially how to identify and approach choking.

Baby First Aid Course
We did this course when our baby was 4 months old. I wish we’d done it earlier. It equipped us with lots of info but found it quite overwhelming to receive such volume in one sitting. I was glad to have the book to take home as a reference when we’re in a pinch and potentially stressed and not thinking clearly to refer to. I hope we never have to use it but I do feel better knowing I have it there if I do need it. The course was run by a young doctor in training, he was great - was clear and concise and empowered us with accessible language and hands on practical experience. Would recommend. It’s not very affordable though you can’t put a price on your child’s safety but times are tough, so it’s a bit of a big expense especially if multiple people from the one household want to attend. I got ours on sale. Recommend doing the same if you can.

An invaluable lesson
I was privileged enough to be able to do this in person course in Sydney whilst pregnant with my second baby. Thankfully it was something I didn’t need with my first born but had something had happened with her, I’d have had no idea what to do. This is what made me decide to do it with my second and although I haven’t needed to use the resources so far, I am glad that I have them behind me and am forever grateful to have these services accessible by such amazing women.

Confident and prepared
My husband and I attended the public course in November 2022. We learnt so much at this course and to this day I feel if I was ever in an emergency situation I would know what to do thanks to this tiny hearts course. I was able to ask questions without feeling silly or judged. Very informative, both hands on and visual learning.

Public course in Melbourne
I did the melbourne public course while I was pregnant to get myself ready for when my little one arrived Rachel held our course she was amazing very informative explained everything clearly answered all questioned that was asked I highly recommend the course as it helped me save my daughter from choking my 2 yr old choked on some mango I instantly went into first aid mode assest the situation and began to give her back blows after 2 back blows she brang the piece of mango up with out this course I wouldn't have known what to do thank you tiny hearts for what you do to help us parents and giving us knowledge on what we need to to do for our child when they are in trouble I highly recommend tiny hearts to everyone that talks about doing a child first aid course 😀

My husband and I attended the first aid course with our family and friends in person in Newcastle. It was highly informative and gave us the opportunity to practice essential skills, like CPR, on both baby and child mannequins. Having hands on practice made all the difference in building confidence.

as a first time mum so pleased I signed up for this!! The information was engaging, concise and the pacing of the day was great. happy to have a a booklet to take home so we could 100% concentrate on the day and not worry about missing anything.
A good refresher for my husband who has done first aid in the past to learn things more infant/child specific, and a confidence booster for me that I now have the knowledge that i would do more or less the right thing under pressure.
I appreciated that there was an understanding that not every situation would be addressed with perfection, and was reassured that any type of action makes all the difference and is so much better than doing nothing.
Highly recommend and will be keeping my eye out for relevant future courses!

A Sunday morning well spent
We decided to do this course in preparation for the arrival of our baby in February. There was a lot of information but it was presented in an informative and easy to understand manner. I walked away feeling more confident to manage common first aid concerns and to know when to seek further help. Perhaps one of the most important things we have done in our pregnancy so far!

More than a first aid course.
This course was great. Was alot more information than a standard first aid course. The way it is delivered is very practical and comes from alot of knowledge, experience and from the heart.

Fantastic course!
Fantastic course. Feel reassured and confident both my partner and I will be able to recall first aid information if we ever need it. Would recommend to anyone around small babies and children!

The best course you’ll ever do, hands down.
Even if you feel you know what you’re doing with a newborn / young child … you’ll feel extra and added confidence in what your response and reaction will be! The course you do to hopefully never use the information you’ll learn

Fantastic learnings

Essential information for new parents
I’ve followed Tiny Hearts for years without having any kids of my own. Now my first bub is on the way, it was fantastic to put all the tips together and practice real life skills. Rach is an amazing facilitator with a wealth of knowledge. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent - highly recommend
