Being a first time mum, I was so excited for this course to be available. My little babe is 5 months old and have started to think about introducing solids, but I didn’t know when or how to start. Since doing the course I feel more confident & excited to start this journey with my little one. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who is about to start their solids journey with their little one! Thank you tiny Hearts for making this course available!
I did the online first aid course while my baby napped in the first few months of his life. Very manageable, you can do it at your own pace and it has so many good fact sheets to refer to. I’ve recommended it to all my friends!

The Baby and Child First Aid course is very clearly set out into manageable sections which you can go through at your own pace so as not to be overwhelmed with Information in one go. I’m so thankful that it’s also available forever so that I can always come back and have a refresher. It has given me the confidence to know what to do in any situation.
The course was informative but lacked a few things. There were repeats in the videos where things were discussed twice, literally word for word. I am happy I got the course on sale, if I paid full price I think I would’ve been more disappointed. Would’ve loved to hear more from the Doc. Potentially some more informative videos of labour. I like the PDFS that come along and are downloadable.

I feel so much more at ease after doing this first aid course online. The luxury with it being online is that we have lifetime access to it so if we need to revisit for a refresher we can! And also it's self paced. It's in an easy to learn format, very informative and gives me the confidence of knowing what to do IF we ever need to but hopefully will never have to. Thank you Tiny Hearts for the wonderful content you put into your courses and also into your day to day social media posts to help save little lives.

The bump, birth and beyond course answered every single question I had. What a comprehensive approach to pregnancy, childbirth, and everything between and beyond. You won’t find a more well-presented course that truly gives you the confidence to enjoy your pregnancy and be genuinely empowered for your birth. Watching it was a joy and the perfect mix of thorough and engaging content. I learned everything I wanted and more. I am 30 weeks pregnant, equipped knowledge to feel self-assured in my last trimester, have a beautiful birth and care for my first baby girl, ready to advocate for her. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much, Nikki, Rach & your team for your ongoing hard work.
If you are at all medically educated you can skip this class. Me and my family knew everything in this class so it was a waste of money. Honestly there is a lot of stuff from their Instagram account that is way more useful than what is in this class. Also the sound mixing was horrible, the music between the sections was incredibly loud then the speaking was very soft. Moving to the next section was a pain. If it had better information I would say it was worth it but honestly it wasn’t.

Instant Access Baby + Child First Aid Course
It is a good starter for someone who does not know anything about first aid. Unfortunately most sections do not have enough information about the topic for our taste. There is one section about wounds for example that is 2 minutes (!) long and it doesn't show any pictures or techniques how to treat which wound. It's just some generic tips that you can find with a quick google search. This pattern continues throughout the course, short videos without visuals and detailed information. On top of that the website is slow and the intro music is annoying. Wanna hear the same, 10 second clip of generic electronic music every two minutes when you start a new session? No, me neither. Besides, it doesn't fit the topic. First aid is not a hip lifestyle topic, I find it rather serious. My wife said the videos are essentially the same as the ones you can find on instagram. So, not worth the money.

My partner and I are new parents and we have both done first aid courses before but wanted something catered to our new little babe, this was perfect! Thank you for what you have done to help people!
My partner and I completed this in 2 parts. We are fairly limited in our time together due to shift work so it was great to have this option and also wasn’t information overload this way! So much useful information and resources and glad to have the option to be able to go back and review over time.

Very easy to navigate, direct to the point, important easy to remember information and I love how it had little videos and clips of what different conditions looked or sound like!
As a first time mum with severe postpartum anxiety, this course has really put my mind at ease knowing that I’ll have the skills and knowledge to care for my child (or someone else) in the case of an emergency. So grateful for Tiny Hearts!
Very easy to complete even with a newborn in the house. This was a refresher for me and I took lots away from it, and plan to revisit every year.
Really conveniently presented and easy to understand content. Has made us feel reassured that we feel a little more prepared. We have been recommending to family and friends who are soon to be parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles
The course covered all the topics you need to know pre and post birth. I completed it over a number of days as the modules are broken up into different topics. Must do before bubba arrives!
The course has been good, the content seems to cover everything I wanted to so far. However, for the price of the course it’s not super smooth to navigate. You can’t watch full screen, because you have to manually check off the video as complete and then select the next one. And the video you’re watching doesn’t stay on the screen if you try to scroll down the side to see what other topics are ahead. For the price, it could definitely be better.
Love that this course is self directed so you can complete at your own pace, and go back to review any sections at any time. We live in rural Victoria so it’s great to be able to access this content online rather than have to travel to a major town/city to complete training.
This course content is invaluable as part of all investments when having a newborn. It’s so easy to follow and I love that I can refer back to it at anytime. I would highly recommend to anyone who has kids, grandkids especially a newborn. Thank you so much for putting this together for us as new parents ☺️

I have a newborn baby and purchased this course mainly for my husband and as a refresher for myself. I was a childcare educator and regularly done first aid courses every year (in person) and I can honestly say although this was an online course, it was the most educational course I’ve done thus far. I’m so grateful for the confidence this course has given both my husband and I. We particularly loved the real life scenarios. Thank you Tiny Hearts!
I've completely general emergency training and CPR/Anaphylaxis training for work but I still was never 100% confident in the scenarios I was given. The tiny Hearts training goes above and beyond in building real life confidence in dealing with first aid situations. The video footage of children experiencing medical emergency gives a very clear picture of what to expect and how to respond. Thank you tiny hearts! I now know what each emergency would look like so I know what steps to take.

Every parent should know the first aid basics, and this course delivers this and more! Many of my fears were subsided with the knowledge and how too.

I thought it was fantastic and learnt a lot but I went to go back through it the other day to refresh myself and it was gone. I was hoping I could go back whenever I felt like it just to reassure myself. I did however save all the helpful information sheets which are great. An excellent job well done.

The course was great and very informative, however at the end of each module there is a jingle that is far louder than the talking and is extremely frustrating

This course has been great for giving me more peace of mind and confidence. In an ideal world I would have liked to do the course in person, but that wasn’t possible in our case, but this online course is thorough and I love that I can go back to refresh any information at any time. I also like that it’s broken down into modules so I can do a little bit at a time when it’s convenient, rather than trying to find a big block of time all at once.
It was a good first aid course, very helpful. I like how the tools they use are in the first aid kit as well. I just wish instead of trying to sell the app within the course after buying the course and the kit ($375) it would be nice to get it free for a year or something.

Very professionally produced first aid course, loved how straight to the point the content was, the memorable acronyms, the practical demonstrations…and that it kept my husband engaged throughout! He normally hates pregnancy tutorial videos haha .
First time mum here! I was feeling so overwhelmed with worry and anxiety about when my little boy would start solids and what I would do if he started to choke. After doing the online course I feel empowered and confident in my new learnt skills! Course was so easy to fit into my schedule with a newborn. Would highly recommend to anyone with children, anyone expecting or anyone who looks after children.
I did the online course, it was super easy to follow and extremely informative. Even without the "physical" component of a face to face class, I felt confident in my skills. I was in the unfortunate situation shortly after completing the course where I needed to use the skills and performed CPR on my 7wk old bubba. It came like second nature, despite the terror I knew exactly what to do, was calm and able to keep him going until the ambos arrived. I have no doubt that my little boy is here and completely okay because of this training. I hope no parent ever has to use it but I can't stress enough how important it is. Your response in an emergency absolutely dictates the outcome and while no one ever thinks it will happen to them, make sure you have the skills to provide the best emergency care for your little one.

Due to covid situation being unpredictable I decided to purchase the online course instead of waiting for a face to face and I’m so glad I did! With two little ones under 3 I need to be on the ball abs no what to do in an emergency. The course is practical and easy to follow. I already feel less anxious and Better yet I can log on and refresh my skills at any time. Highly recommend!
